British/French composer Michael Errington joins Horyou team member Dearbhla Gavin at Horyou Village to talk about the Cannes Film Festival, his introduction to classical music and his love for bringing attention to charity.

He relates a story where back in school in England, he was sitting in detention when he heard a piano teacher playing Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata,” and from that moment on, in Errington’s words, “it was like duck to water.”

He enumerates other musicians he admires, not the least of whom Kate Bush, and how music can serve as an international language.
